The Truggers is a group of volunteers set up as a Vitality Village initiative with the aim of encouraging local residents and visitors to improve their health and wellbeing by going out into the countryside and taking advantage of the vast network of local public rights of way that encompass the diverse area from the High Weald to the Pevensey Levels.
The work we do can best be split into four parts, although there is much overlap and connectivity:-
- Writing, publishing and distributing the Walks Around Herstmonceux Pamphlets
- Footpath Clearance
- Footpath Improvement
- Community Routes
